While there are varied opinions on what is good and bad, we can all agree that are definitely some “bad” Doctor Who stories. No one sets out to make a bad story, so what went wrong? What makes a bad Doctor Who story? More importantly, could these stories have been salvaged by better direction, a few rewrites, or recasting? What works about those stories, and what doesn’t?
