ANITA SENGUPTA is an aerospace engineer, rocket scientist, professor, tech entrepreneur, instrument rated pilot, and Captain in the Civil Air Patrol US Air Force Auxiliary. She worked for NASA for 16 years where she led the design of propulsion and landing systems for deep space, Mars, and earth re-entry. Next she was senior vice president of systems engineering at Virgin Hyperloop One. She is currently founder and CEO of Hydroplane Ltd, an hydrogen powered aviation company. Dr. Sengupta received her MS and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, where she is also a Research Professor of Astronautical Engineer. As a lifelong Doctor who fan she looks forward to sharing her adventures in STEM with attendees.
